Every year, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) invites banking aspirants to apply for various posts in the participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across the country. For the fiscal year 2024-25, IBPS released the IBPS RRB notification on 7th June 2024, announcing the recruitment of 10,313 vacancies. The registration process, which will end on 27th June 2024, invites applications for the posts of Probationary Officer (PO), Officer Scale 2 & 3, and Office Assistants (Clerks). The recruitment aims to fill positions including Office Assistant (Multipurpose), Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager), Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer), and various specialist roles such as Information Technology Officer, Chartered Accountant, Law Officer, Treasury Manager, Marketing Officer, Agricultural Officer, and Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager).

IBPS has released the official notification PDF for the IBPS RRB 2024 Exam on 7th June 2024 at www.ibps.in to recruit eligible banking aspirants for 10,313 vacancies for Office Assistants (Clerk) and Officers Scale-I, II, and III posts in different Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across the country. According to the IBPS Exam Calendar, the preliminary exams for IBPS RRB PO and Clerk are scheduled for 3rd, 4th, 10th, 17th, and 18th August 2024. The mains examination for PO (Officer Scale 1) and Single Officers (II & III) is set for 29th September 2024, while the Clerk’s main exam will take place on 6th October 2024.

Eligibility Requirement
Nationality / Citizenship A Citizen of India.
• A subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that candidates in categories (ii), (iii), and (iv) above have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age LimitOffice Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years and 28 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1996 and later than 01.06.2006 (both dates inclusive).
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years and below 30 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1994 and later than 30.06.2006 (both dates inclusive).
Officer Scale-II (Manager): Above 21 years and below 32 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1992 and later than 31.05.2003 (both dates inclusive).
Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): Above 21 years and below 40 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1984 and later than 31.05.2003 (both dates inclusive).
Language ProficiencyCandidates applying for the posts of Office Assistant in any particular RRB are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview.
