Individual must be a medal winner in any of the following:
- World Championship or Asian Championships
- Asian Games
- Commonwealth Games (CWG) or World Cup
- Represented India twice in Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, or World Cup
- Represented India in Olympics
- Medalist at Junior/Senior level by representing State in National competitions or represented Country at International level (Indl event)
- Represented a State or Country in National or International competitions at Junior/Senior level (Team event)
- Medalist in Khelo India Games & Youth Games or above
