  • Junior Statistical Officer (JSO):

  • Statistical Investigator Grade-II:
  1. Graduation Degree from any recognized University.

  • Research Assistant (National Human Rights Commission – NHRC):
  1. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
  2. Minimum one year of research experience in any recognized university or research institution.

Other Eligibility Criteria:

  1. A candidate must be: (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  2. Candidates belonging to categories (b), (c), and (d) above must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
  3. Candidates requiring a certificate of eligibility can appear for the examination, but appointment will be subject to the issuance of the eligibility certificate by the Government of India.
  • Stage 1 – Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature):
  1. All candidates who successfully apply for the SSC CGL exam will be assigned Roll numbers and Admit Cards to appear in Tier-I.
  2. Tier-I is a computer-based exam and serves as a qualifying round.
  • Stage 2 – Tier-II:
  1. Paper I: Compulsory for all posts.
  2. Paper II: Only for candidates applying for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
  3. Candidates shortlisted based on Tier-I marks will appear for Tier-II and Tier-III examinations.
  • Tier-II Examinations:
  1. Separate cut-offs will be released for Paper-II (JSO post) and Paper-I (all other posts) of Tier-II.
  2. All candidates qualified in Tier-I will participate in Tier-II examinations.
  • Tier-III:
  1. This stage includes a Descriptive Paper and is mandatory for all candidates.
  2. Candidates must clear Tier-III to move forward in the selection process.

Candidates applying for SSC CGL Recruitment 2024 need to pay an (application fee of Rs. 100/-) while submitting their application form online at www.ssc.gov.in. However, women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and ESM categories are exempted from paying the application fee. The last date to pay the application fee is 25th July 2024 (11 pm). The application fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards only.
